Sue Reisinger - Receptionist
If you stop by the office, you’ll meet our Receptionist, Sue Reisinger. Sue started working for Dr. Daniel A. Frantz in March 2021, bringing with her a strong background in secretarial work, as she has several years experience in a variety of office settings including a primary care physician's office to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Sue is married to Dr. Gene Reisinger and they have lived in the Selinsgrove community since 1989. Both Sue and her husband are members of the Susquehanna Valley Amateur Radio Club and hold their general HAM licenses. Their son, Hans, and daughter, Krista, graduated from the Selinsgrove Area School District. Hans, who now lives in Spring Mills, is married to Cassie with one son, Benjamin, with another boy due in October 2021. Krista, now living in New Columbia, is married to Chris, with two daughters, Cadence and Aria.
While attending college at Kutztown University, Sue worked as a counselor for the Beacon Lodge Camp for the Blind. After student teaching at the Overbrook School for the Blind in Philadelphia, she earned a degree in elementary education for the visually handicapped. Known for her creativity and innovation, Sue excelled in her own interior design business for 20 years.
Sue is a familiar face in the community, as she substitute teaches for the Selinsgrove Area School District. She is also active at Wesley United Methodist Church in Selinsgrove, both singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school, and is currently serving as the Susquehanna Conference United Methodist Women's President.
In her free time away from the office, Sue enjoys gardening, home decorating, and a variety of crafts.
Her friendly personality, knowledge, and willingness to learn make her an asset at Dr. Frantz’s office.
Ashley Fetter - Optician
If you're looking for help to choose your new glasses, or to adjust and maintain your current ones, then you'll want to spend some time with our new Optician, Ashley Fetter. Ashley started working for Dr. Frantz in June of 2023. Since then, she has been busy learning as much as she can about the eyecare world. She manages a variety of responsibilities for Dr. Frantz including pre-screening patients, educating new contact lens wearers, managing optical inventory, and dispensing orders to patients.
Ashley lives with her husband, Chris, and daughter, Lucinda. She is an active member of the Susquehanna Valley Church of Christ where she teaches Sunday school. In her time away from the office, she can be found at Bible Depot in Sunbury where she works part time, or homeschooling her daughter.
Ashley graduated from Mifflinburg High School and later attended McCann School of Business and Technology where she graduated with an Associates Degree for Electronic Health Records. Some of her previous work experience includes a secretarial position at Reisinger Family Practice and as an Aide at Selinsgrove Center.
Ashley’s outgoing personality, smiling face, and eagerness to learn new things make her a great addition to the staff at Dr. Frantz’s office.
